“Pylons are highly unsightly and can cause distress to bird migration and the numerous starling murmations on the island. Anglesey relies on tourism to flourish and should not be turned into the powerhouse of Wales without the investment needed to protect this vital industry. The power lines must be sent underground and not overhead to protect nature and the tourism of the island. Profits will be generated by the new Wylfa and some of this money must be used to protect the environment.”
