A decision on the application for a Development Consent Order for Eggborough CCGT was taken on 20 September 2018.
Timeline (32 items)

Five years after the Secretary of State’s decision is issued, all remaining published documents associated with an application are removed from the National Infrastructure Planning website, with the exception of the following which are retained in line with our document retention policy:
- The Secretary of State’s decision notice and statement of reasons;
- If made, the Development Consent Order;
- The Examining Authority’s Recommendation Report and associated appendices;
- Any material/non-material change decisions;
- Any correction notices; and
- All section 51 advice issued in respect of an application.
As such, the purpose of this banner is to highlight that we will shortly remove all documents, except those listed above.

The Crown Estate and Applicant have responded to The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s request for further comments

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has requested further comments from The Crown Estate.

The responses to The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy letter issued 9 July have been published.

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Design requesting comments from the Applicant, The Crown Estate and Northern Gas Limited.


The Examining Authority’s Draft Development Consent Order (DCO) issued on 19 February has been published.

The Report on the Implications for European Sites (RIES) and a Request for further information from the Examining Authority have been published.
Responses are to be received by Deadline 7 – Wednesday 14 February 2018

The Examination Authority has accepted a submission dated 8 December 2017 from Hensall Parish Council as a late deadline three submission.

A Rule 8(3) and Rule 17 letter has been published, requesting further information and changes to the timetable.

Action Points from the Issue Specific Hearing on Environmental Matters have been published.
Audio recordings of the hearings on 22 and 23 November 2017 have also been published.
