What happens next

A decision on the application for a development consent order for Mynydd y Gwynt Wind Farm was taken on 20 November 2015 and has now been issued.

The developer confirmed to the IPC that the scheme has been revised from the one initially advised for this website. The scheme has been altered from 23 turbines with up to 69 MW generating capacity to 27 turbines with up to 81MW generating capacity. Additional works: substation and control building, monitoing mast, electrical cables, new access tracks and widening existing tracks.
