Notice of the Procedural Decision has been issued by the Examining Authority to Interested Parties in the Rule 8 letter; this includes information about how the Examination will be conducted and the Examination Timetable as currently set out.
17/07/2023 - Deadline for close of examination. See the Examination Timetable for further information.If you have a legal interest in land affected by a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project and:
- have not been identified by the Applicant; and
- did not register to become an Interested Party;
then you can make a request to the Examining Authority to become an Interested Party under s102A of the Planning Act 2008.

The Examining Authority (ExA) has re-published the Rule 8 letter (PDF, 339 KB) to clarify a discrepancy with the notification of further Hearings and Accompanied Site Inspection in March 2023.

The Examination Timetable (Rule 8 letter) has been sent to Interested Parties. This includes notification of further Hearings and Accompanied Site Inspection in March 2023.
The Examining Authority (ExA) has also issued their first written questions (WQ1). As stated at ISH1 and ISH2, the ExA has incorporated the post Hearing actions and other issues emerging at the Hearings in WQ1. As such there will be no further issue of post Hearing actions.

The Examining Authority has made minor revisions in the Rule 6 letter and accompanying annexes (PDF, 447KB) to reflect the changes in the list of ‘Other Persons’ invited to the Preliminary Meeting and to clarify the deadline for the receipt of additional application documents from the Applicant.
The Examining Authority has issued letters to Mulbarton Parish Council (PDF, 243KB) and Non-Statutory Stakeholders (PDF, 238KB).

The Applicant has submitted their response to s51 Advice issued by the Planning Inspectorate on 3 October 2022, including updated versions of application documents, which have been accepted by the Examining Authority as Pre-Examination Additional Submissions. The Examination Library has been updated.

This application was received by the Planning Inspectorate on Monday 5 September 2022.
The application documents will be made available on the project page of this website if the application is accepted for examination.
It is for the Applicant to decide whether or not application documents can be published upon submission (see government’s Planning Act 2008: guidance on the Pre-application process).
