Trans-European Energy
The European Commission (EC) has adopted Guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure (TEN-E).
Trans-European networks for transporting electricity and gas are essential for the effective operation of the internal energy market. TEN-E networks also play a crucial role in ensuring the security and diversification of supply. The networks will provide better links between renewable energy production installations and more efficient technologies will promote sustainable development.
