In terms of ExA decision, is this announced in writing by Mrs Burden, and published on your site, or does she announce in person?
The application for Whitemoss Landfill is currently in the examination stage of the application, the examination will end no later than 21 November 2014. After this time the Examining Authority will then make a recommendation in the form of a written report to the Secretary of State. This can take up to another three months but will be submitted to the Secretary of State no later than 21 February 2015. The Secretary of State then has another three months to decide weather or not to grant consent for the application. The Secretary of State decision will be published on the infrastructure website and all parties will be notified of the decision made.

Lancashire County Council sought clarity on how the proposed application of Whitemoss Landfill Limited constitutes a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project under s30 of the Planning Act 2008 and other matters.
