Presuming the Onshore assets will connect at Penwortham pre-defines the route they will take. That route is heavily contested so this should not be assumed at this stage. There are alternative routes, which cost less money, would be quicker to implement and would not destroy greenbelt land, livelihoods and farmland as well as disrupting tourism and affecting physical and mental health.”
