Email regarding the proposed Scout Moor Wind Farm extension with concern over the location of the scheme.

Advice given

The Scout Moor Wind Farm Expansion proposal is currently in the ?pre-application? stage where the applicant ? Peel Wind Farms (Scout Moor) Limited undertakes consultation before finalising and formally submitting the scheme to the Planning Inspectorate.
Until the application is submitted, your first point of contact will be Peel Wind Farms (Scout Moor) Limited. Consultation requirements set out in the Planning Act 2008 state that applicants must have regard to any comments received during the statutory pre-application consultation stage, therefore we advise you to forward your comments below directly to the applicant using the following email address: [email protected].
Should the scheme be submitted and then accepted to go forward for examination, the public will be invited to register their interest and submit a ?Relevant Representation? to the Planning Inspectorate with a summary of their comments. More detailed representations can then be made during the examination stage. Further information can also be found on our website: www.independent.gov.uk/infrastructure.
I also recommend regularly checking the Scout Moor project pages of the Planning Portal website for future updates: attachment 1.
