It is important that the Developer is made aware of your comments at the pre-application stage of the process, to enable them to consider these points before finalising their proposals and submitting the application to the Planning Inspectorate. The Planning Inspectorate has produced several Advice Notes to help provide an overview of the Planning Act 2008 (PA2008) process and the opportunities to get involved. Anyone who makes a Relevant Representation will become an ‘Interested Party’ and will be able to participate in the Preliminary Meeting and the Examination of the application. Please be assured that all Interested Parties with an interest in the proposed development, its potential impacts and any planning matters can be fully engaged in the examination process.
