Able Marine Energy Park Material Change 2

What happens next

The registration period has now closed and the Secretary of State is considering the need for an examination of the application.  This page will be updated in due course with the Secretary of State’s decision:
  • If the Secretary of State is of the view that an examination is not required, a statement setting out the Secretary of State’s reasons as to why this is not considered necessary, will be published on this website. There would then be the opportunity for further representations (for at least 28 days).
  • If the decision not to hold an examination was confirmed, then the Secretary of State’s decision on the application would be made within 2 months of the notification of decision not to hold an examination.
  • Alternatively, if the Secretary of State decides to hold an examination, an Examining Body will be appointed to examine the application (with a maximum of 4 months for the examination).
