A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Road Improvement scheme

I was disappointed that the proposed EWR is given no mention in the application for the A428 when it is proposed to run alongside it. As a Parish Council we are keen that our tiny village is not disturbed with construction or diverted traffic during the work undertaken for the A428. It was a concern to learn that projected traffic volume through our village from West to East is only estimated at -20%. Pre Covid we had around 800 vehicles per hour at rush hour through the village so 20% reduction isn't at all impressive. Also an increase in traffic at the Toseland Crossroads from north to south is extremely worrying when this already carries a high accident rate as there are no STOP signs.
