The traffic on the M1, A45 and associated local roads is already causing congestion on a frequent basis and this will only increase as the large housing estates and additional warehousing already approved or recently completed come on line.
Collingtree village has an unsafe level of air pollution currently. Additional traffic of 16000 vehicle movements a day from the proposed Gateway would significantly increase this leading to further damage to our children's health.
I do not believe that the loss of >500 acres of good farming land is justified to build a facility which is not required in the National Interest as there is significant underutilisation of the nearby facility at Drift.
